The MUCGT has from its foundation been extensively engaged in publishing, aiming to collect, organise and study materials relating to the history, economy, dialects, folklore, customs and traditions in the broadest sense of the people of Trentino and to promote and publish ethnological studies and research (art 1.). Beginning by publishing the writings of the MUCGT’s founder, ethnographer Giuseppe Sebesta, whose copious and diverse work has been abundantly and almost completely reproduced, MUCGT publishing has gone on to focus on various aspects of Trentino dialectology, on local migration studies and the collections of material culture conserved at the MUCGT.
Today our editorial production includes the series: Trentino ethnographies and Classics of Alpine ethnography and the journal SM Annals of San Michele.
